‚Äč 2015's Batman: Arkham Knight is aiming to be the "ultimate Batman simulator," according to developer Rocksteady Studios. The developer's marketing manager, Guy Perkins, explained in a new interview what the game needs to achieve for Rocksteady to feel good about what it created.

"If people walk away thinking this is the ultimate Batman simulator, then our job is complete," he told IGN. "We gave them Gotham City, we gave them Batman at the height of his powers, and we gave them the Batmobile. I think those three elements come together to make a great game. If people go away feeling like it was awesome, we've done a good job."

Arkham Knight is the third game in the series from Rocksteady, following the original Arkham Asylum (2009) and Arkham City (2011). Last year's Arkham Origins was developed by Warner Bros. Montreal.

Arkham Knight was originally targeted to launch this fall, but publisher Warner Bros. delayed it to 2015 right before E3. The game is now scheduled to launch in June 2015 for Xbox One, PlayStation 4, and PC. Batman superfans and collectors might also be interested in a $200 Arkham Knight special edition that comes with a model Batmobile.
